Maltese have the standard shoulder height of 8 to 10 inches at the highest point. Maltese do not shed or shed very little, therefore making them the perfect match for those with allergies. Maltese’s lifespan is 12 to 14 years though some live as long as 18 years. They need to be paper or box trained. They are eager to learn, fearless, friendly, and sociable. They are intelligent.
